Around 1300 hours, LA103 was dispatched to assist E105 for a flooded basement on 16th Street South. T105 started pumping while LA103 was en route. LA103 and U106 responded with a crew of 4 (Schloss, Pardi, Fortner and Park). The basement was cleared and everybody went home. Around 1600, LA103 was again called to assists with a broken water pipe. This time the call was at Reagan National Airport. While we were putting together a crew, there was a 2nd alarm fire call on North Longfellow Street (Box 7216). The crew on LA103 filled air cylinders and helped pack hose. Meanwhile, the crew on U106 took the water vacuums and pumps to the airport.
Thanks to all who helped out.
