Arlington units arrived at a four story garden apartment building with fire and smoke showing.  A second alarm was dispatched by ECC with a Special Alarm (4 additional engines and 2 medics).  LA103 was dispatched with the 2nd alarm less than 6 hours after another 2nd alarm structure fire.  Falls Church Captain Steve Sisler was the driver with FCVFD Joe Lowry arriving POV.  Just after daylight, LA103 suffered a mechanical breakdown and had to leave the firegound via tow truck.  Chief Pardi supervised the lift operations along with TV crews from Fox 5, Channel 7 as well as Univision and Telemundo.
